The base color of this yarn is a gorgeous taupe gray from the addition of yak fiber. It takes dye beautifully and makes the colors rich and deep. Yak fiber is incredibly warm and soft, making this yarn a pleasure to work with.
The last picture shown is Jewels with 20g mini skeins, they coordinate perfectly with this colorway! If you would like to purchase a 20g mini skeins of Yak Sock to go with this skein (or just to have for other projects), here is the link - https://www.etsy.com/listing/981579451/jewels-minis-hand-dyed-yak-sock-yarn

3-ply fingering weight
70% Superwash Merino wool
Approximately 437 yards/100grams
I dye yarn in small batches in my kitchen using professional acid dyes, then wash with gentle wool wash and rinse them well. Each skein is unique and special!
Although this superwash yarn can be machine washed and dried, I recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry. Some bleeding may occur with the first washing but it will not affect the color; the dyes are set and are permanent.
I have done my best to accurately capture all the colors in this skein, but color may differ slightly on each screen.

Most of my sewing has to wait until evening after a full day of schooling and playing with kids so it's difficult to do custom orders. I hope that as my kids get older, and I get more sleep, I can resume accepting custom orders!
